Haji Noor Deen Mi Guang Jiang, a renowned master of Arabic calligraphy from Shandong, China, will showcase his unique fusion of Eastern and Western calligraphic styles at the Islamic Dawah Center Library. His exhibit, running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, will feature his stunning and inspirational works, available for purchase. Haji Noor Deen, celebrated for blending traditional Islamic art with Chinese artistic principles, will also be present from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday for a special meet-and-greet. During this time, attendees can engage in a family-friendly workshop that includes a visual journey through the 1000-year legacy of the Wei Muslims in China, a PowerPoint presentation on the history of Muslim art in China, and a demonstration of Arabic calligraphy in the Chinese style (ACCS).
This workshop offers audience participation and showcases Haji Noor Deen’s distinctive Sini style, reflecting his certification in Arabic Calligraphy from Egypt and Turkey and his innovative approach to merging Arabic and Chinese scripts.
