About the Event

As Fort Worth becomes the 12th largest city and Arlington prepares for World Cup games, the future of transportation in Tarrant County is crucial. Join us for a panel discussion on the region’s transportation challenges and opportunities. We’ll explore Fort Worth’s plans for a new urban rail system and Arlington’s status as the largest U.S. city without mass transit. Engage with local leaders and contribute to the discussion.

Panelists include Mattie Parker, Mayor of Fort Worth; Jim Ross, Mayor of Arlington; Michael Morris, Director of Transportation at the North Central Texas Council of Governments; and Richard Andreski, CEO/President of Trinity Metro. The discussion will be moderated by Chris Cobler, CEO/Publisher of the Fort Worth Report. Thanks to our sponsors: North Texas Community Foundation, BNSF Railway Foundation, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth, Mental Health Connection, Texas Wesleyan University, and United Way of Tarrant County.
